The Challenge
La Garfield is an independent band from Guadalajara that blends Latin rhythms with jazz, disco, and funk, creating an authentic sound that captures distinct pleasures. For their album La Vida No Es Tan Seria, we crafted a visual identity that reflects the laid-back spirit of their music.
Using a bottle of sunscreen as the focal point, we designed the concept around the idea of the album being as indispensable as a travel essential. To keep the visual style consistent, we used a color palette inspired by a sunset over the sea, analog photography of vacation landscapes, and layered graphic elements. These visuals, along with the character design, allow the audience to genuinely connect with the album’s vibe, creating a visual story that conveys both the laid-back and playful sides of the experience.
